Modelers' Showcase

Bob Lucas' AC&Y Layout
Right: Medina (Permold, AI Root, B&O interchange) is near left. Beyond left is Medina's commercial district. Fairlawn (Carter-Jones Lumber, Fairlawn Supply) is near right. Beyond is Copley (3M-Minnesota Mining), then the River Styx bridge. Click to see larger image.
Click for larger image. Left: FM #200 at the Medina commercial district with structures along Court St. and Smith Rd. Champion creek is also there, but not visible. As you can see, the sheet aluminum backdrop is needing a decision on the correct shade of "sky" blue!
Right: FM #501 (de-motored Alco Models brass H20-44) and F-M #200 with westbound train crossing Bridge #93 over West Branch Rocky River. The prototype is 850' with 19 spans...the model will be 390' with 11 spans, on temporary aluminum channel. Click for larger image.
