Maybe the last active AC&Y equipment?

Postby Luke » Thu Aug 21, 2014 9:25 am

Thought I'd post an interesting shot posted on Facebook by Roger Durfee. Here is his caption. "Over the years I have shot just about anything connected with the railroad- case in point being this former AC&Y wheelbarrow in Akron, Ohio not long after the W&LE took this line over. It would be the last "active" original piece of equipment lettered for the ACY that I would shoot. lol."

I love it! I will have to add one to my HO roster. I love Roger Durfee's photography.

It was still "in service" in Brewster a few years back. It might still be around but I am not sure.
