Lighting done. Benchwork done. Time to get busy with sub-roadbed and laying track. The paper track plan is in place, I am ready to go. Lookout plywood, here comes my saw again!

There is an intensely detailed plan of action moving forward here: http://www.lkorailroad.com/track-laying-begins/ I welcome any comments you may have be they good or bad.

How can you stand to spend so much time building & not be able to run something?
All kidding aside, it looks like a beautiful job. Kudos!

All the sub-roadbed on the upper deck is complete. Beginning the process of filling the voids with 2" foam sheet. Also built my prototype Tortoise control circuit. All the details and a ton of pics at http://www.lkorailroad.com

Looking back at this old thread I see a whole lot has transpired since the last post in 2013. I ran my first train not long ago.

I liked the inclined curve at 6:20. I wouldn't be able to wait long enough for the whole thing to be done, I'd be running "locals" on what little parts I could with it being under construction.
