Jud8789,
AC&Y Timetable No. 28 (effective September 12, 1965) was likely still in effect circa 1968. AC&Y operated two daily scheduled road trains in each direction (between Brittain and Delphos). The eastbound symbols were Trains 96 and 94. The westbound Trains were 91 and 97. There was also a scheduled daily except Sundays and Holidays turn between Medina and Brittain. The turn symbols were were 42 eastbound and 41 westbound. I'll summerize the departure and arrival times below:

Eastbound
Train 96 - Depart Delphos 9:50 am - Arrive Brittain 4:20 pm (meet Train 97 at Bluffton)
Train 94 - Depart Delphos 8:30 pm - Arrive Brittain 3:00 am (meet Train 91 at Spencer)
Train 42 - Depart Medina 3:00 pm - Arrive Brittain 4:00 pm

Westbound
Train 91 - Depart Brittain 11:00 pm - Arrive Delphos 5:40 am (meet Train 94 at Spencer)
Train 97 - Depart Brittain 5:45 am - Arrive Delphos 11:30 am (meet Train 96 at Bluffton)
Train 41 - Depart Brttain 8:15 am - Arrive Medina 11:00 am

The mid-1960s were some of the best traffic years in AC&Y's history. Business was robust. In addition to the scheduled trains, many extras operated plus turns out of Carey.

thanks SO MUCH....that's exactly what I needed.......I lived within spitting distance from Fairlawn and in reality 41 arrived there about 11 am, the crew went to lunch at a place along Market Street and then worked Fairlawn.....occasionally I would ride with them to Copley where the agent would take me home at the end of the day....they usually left Copley about 1-2 pm or so. As I recall it was around 5 when they came back through heading home to Brittan

Jud8789,
I also spent many hours at Fairlawn. Curious if you might have photographs of the area, particularly what was once Fairlawn Supply and Carter Jones Lumber? REL
