It just occurred to me reading about the big hook that ACY rules called for the boom to be in the trailing position so when the wreck train returned to Brittian Yard it was probably taken to the Mogadore Wye and the whole train was turned before being put away on the shop track.

Checking random Akron City Directories the location off North Hawkins was operated by W.E. Wright. I grew up within spitting distance of that crossing. I could find no listing for a Mower/Mowher Coal checking every five years from 1920-1946.
