Rubber City Rails videos/DVDs

Happy Thanksgiving to all,

I have watched the Rubber City Rails volume 1 and enjoyed it. Volume 2 touts Akron and Barberton Belt line cab ride footage. Has anyone seen this video (DVD?)? Recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Also available through another site http://historicaerials.com/ is a 1952...

Free-mo display in Willard, OH October 13-14, 2012

Good afternoon all, I know this doesn't technically deal with AC&Y/A&BB modules, however, there will be a Free-mo layout up and running in Willard next weekend. The layout will have "veteran" modules and some new ones under development. The layout will be set up in the gym of the W...

Re: Weekend Photo Shoot - Sunday 6/24/12

Here is ABB #28 working the interchange on Spur 4. This is a Stewart (Bowser) model with some added detail and an ESU Loksound decoder. abb1.jpg Very nice picture and model! What did you use for the lettering? Microscale or some other manufacturer? That's how I'd hope my loco would turn out when it...

On-line Research options for AC&Y / A&BB?

Hello all, Do any of the members have some "favorite" on line sources for AC&Y / A&BB data? I've been using the Sanborn Fire Maps through the Ohio library systems to research industries (and track alignments). http://oplin.org/auth/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdmc.ohiolink.edu%2Foplinmap.htm ...

Share your plans and designs here

Here's a module that's under construction. It's based on the 1950's industries in east central Akron on the A&BB. Drawing from 3rdPlanIt CAD software. 10ft_Beaver_St_siding.jpg The area that's being modeled as it exists today. http://binged.it/LqUcGt This design isn't 100% accurate representatio...

Re: Akron Barberton Belt

I am modeling the AC&Y Brittain Yard to Delphos and plan on including the interchange at Brittain as well as at Belt Junction. I do not have ABB equipment modeled as of yet but will as things progress. Growing up in Barberton I have fond memories of the ABB - the "Chemical" tank cars ...
