Re: Mount Blanchard depot

Chris, Thanks for the Mount Blanchard track configuration. It will certainly help my modeling efforts and clarify whether it would be a suitable Freemo module. Somehow I missed your post on Sunday. I have completed the Mount Blanchard depot and will post some pictures soon. I'm considering a couple ...

Re: More of what you can do with Society decals...

Excellent models Bob, and great utilization of the different Society decal options. Hopefully they will incite some people to do some decaling and kitbashing. I have a feeling that the contest at the convention is going to be quite competitive and have a lot more entries this year.

Re: Weekend Photo Shoot - Sunday 6/24/12

I wanted to join in on the A&BBRR theme so here are a couple of pictures in Akron. Excuse the inaccuracies of my number 28. The paint job is good but the lettering is lacking. I tried to get custom decals printed but there was a little debaucle so I went with dry transfers. Unfortunately no peri...

RJ:

Thanks for posting. Your locomotive looks good. I've done one also but it was a compromised Athearn S12. The Stewart model is definitely a more accurate starting point. Keep up the good work.

Weekend Photo Shoot - Sunday 6/24/12

Gentlemen: These are my offerings for this week. One of my two consolidations, my proto free-lanced Vaughnsville depot, and a scratch built W&LE depot that is essentially the Curtice Depot but could be an adequate stand in for Spencer. It needs a chimney and signs. Matt Woods AC&Y consolidat...

Re: What you can do with Society decals

Bob, I have three of the MDC cabooses that I have upgraded and detailed that need decals. Which decal set did you use for your caboose? The upgrading and detailing of the cabooses would make a good article. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Re: Weekend Photo Shoot - Father's Day Edition

I guess this concept will be a little slow to catch on. We'll try next week and see if there is a little more enthusaism. Whatever your working on or have previously done could be posted. Step right up and don't be shy.

Weekend Photo Shoot - Father's Day Edition

Here are a few pictures to kick off a weekly photo posting of our work. These are not specific locations along the AC&Y, but random shots on a generic module with my improved Vaughnsville depot. The consolidation is a Bachmann engine with society decals. Post some pictures and have a Happy Fathe...
